My decision to move our business into full exterior restorations was born out of my own personal experience when I hired a roofer for a hail damage claim at my house.  That experience left me frustrated and disappointed. A couple decades ago after a hailstorm damaged my home in Colorado Springs, I hired a roofing company to handle the repairs and help with the insurance claim. They fixed the roof, closed out the claim, and took the check — but that was it. I was left standing there asking, “What about the fence? What about the siding? What about the shed?”

I couldn’t understand why the other parts of my home were ignored when they were obviously hit by hail too ....and my claim was already closed. Wasn’t my insurance supposed to cover the restoration of the entire property, not just the roof? I didn’t know where to turn or how to move forward.  I realized what you don’t know can hurt you.  Now I wish that someone had told me back then that I don’t have to go with the “approved vendor” my insurance company chose for me.  I wish someone had told me that the insurance company has deadlines for you to start a claim after a storm.  I wish someone had told me that it wasn’t not too late to ask for supplementals.  I wish I had a contractor who had my back.  This experience birthed the desire to learn more about the mystery behind insurance claims.


That experience motivated us to do the work: we invested in our education and gained the proper licenses, and committed our family-owned business to becoming experts in all aspects of exterior repair.
